Swim Meet Details
Revised October 19, 2026
This is preliminary, best-effort information for early planning purposes. Details will be updated as plans are finalized.
June 5, 2027 • Augustana College Lund Natatorium • Warm-ups 9:00 a.m. • Competition 10:00 a.m.
The 2027 Summer Games swim meet will be held at the Augustana College Natatorium on June 5, 2027. Warm-ups will begin at 9 a.m. Competition will begin at 10 a.m.
Our goal is to deliver a swim meet that will welcome all levels of participants, from leisure and recreational swimmers who may never have competed before to lifelong Masters swimmers chasing national records—and everyone in between.
The meet will be recognized by U.S. Masters Swimming. USMS-registered swimmers will be able to have eligible performances considered for records and Top Ten status. USMS membership is NOT required to participate.
25-yard distances will be offered in backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, and freestyle. These four distances will be exhibition events because USMS does not recognize these distances; Summer Games medals will be awarded.
The meet will feature electronic timing and certified officials, providing USMS-registered swimmers the opportunity to qualify for national records and Top Ten status. Masters Swimming is for swimmers age 18 and older; accordingly, the meet will admit participants age 18 and older.
Swimmers age 40 and over will receive the full $40 Summer Games registration bundle: unlimited eligible events, a T-shirt, up to three earned medals, refreshments, pizza at Opening Ceremonies, and the closing picnic. Swimmers ages 18–39 will be permitted to enter the swim meet under the swim meet age exception.
Age groups for Summer Games individual medals will be in five-year increments. USMS record and Top Ten eligibility follows applicable USMS rules.
